Meet the Doctor
Dr. Dalynn Brummett is a doctor of chiropractic with special training
and certification by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in the
specialty of chiropractic neurology. Chiropractic neurology is
“functional neurology” which is the treatment of conditions that has
some interaction with the neurological system through the use of the
internal and external environment (as opposed to drugs and surgery).
These modalities are as endless as the environment (sensory, motor,
cognitive and adjustment).There are only about 750 board certified
chiropractic neurologists in the world.
Dr. Brummett has an impressive educational background. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic in 1992 graduating magna cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. She earned her undergraduate degree in pharmacy at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She completed board certification in chiropractic neurology in 1998 with special training in the treatment of childhood neurobehavioral disorders. Dr. Brummett is trained in chiropractic neurology by Dr. Ted Carrick who is renowned for his work in "waking up" coma patients.
She currently has a practice in Highland, Indiana where she implemented the Unlimited Potentials Program to meet the growing treatment needs of patients who are affected by ADD, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders, Along with this she also treats patients with other neurological disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Seizure Disorders, Parkinson's, and Multiple Sclerosis and others. Parents of young patients are impressed with Dr. Brummetts' compassionate approach.
Dr. Brummett previously practiced in the Kansas City area where she was a recipient of Symbols of Caregiving Award for her volunteer service to the O'Connell Youth Ranch in Lawrence, Kansas.
